Cento Mani- CBD

Chocolo Pancakes

> Cento Mani’s Chocolo Pancakes- A mix of berries between Chocolo's Arepas, made of sweet, tender corn in the shape of tortillas with a hint of ricotta cheese, sprinkled with coconut flakes and finished with a homemade syrup of aguardiente (the most traditional and authentic Colombian liquor) <

Cento Mani is a small little Colombian inspired café in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. They offer an extensive menu with a mix of Colombian and Australian dishes to satisfy all food cravings. As soon as you walk through the door you already feel like you are in Colombia. The staff are Colombian, and the décor is Colombian inspired. These pancakes are very different and interesting. The flavour combination is nothing like I’ve ever tasted and I surprisingly really enjoyed the uniqueness of this dish. The pancakes were thin but extremely filling. They were a mix between sweet and savoury, with the berries being extremely sweet and the ricotta cheese being quite savoury. The syrup was quite sweet and melted everything together really nicely. Overall, I enjoyed this dish very much and couldn’t resist demolishing the entire meal alone! Just visiting this café is a really incredible experience as they take you on a journey across the world back to their homeland to show you how they live in Colombia and give you a taste of the South American food. If you want to experience something more than just a typical Melbourne café, then you should definitely check this place out because you get more than just pretty food, you get an entire experience with amazing food.

Eggs and Bacon Wrap

> Eggs & Bacon Wrap- Wheat Tortilla filled with Creamy Scrambled Eggs, Mozzarella Cheese, Bacon and Spinach <

This dish was probably my favourite out of everything we tried. The flavours were so powerful and I could not resist going back for another bite! The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was so smoky. The cheese helped combine these elements and added a really nice savoury flavour. Overall, this is not your typical eggs and bacon dish as it has a Colombian twist to it, but I would highly recommend trying this one if you have a big apetite!
