Toasted Granola

One of my favourite dishes to order at any café is granola. I always feel energised and full after I demolish an entire bowl. The yogurt was sweet, which showcased the sweetness of the granola even more. I am not a huge fan of pecan nuts, so that addition was not the best for me seeming there were quite a few swimming around. The apple helped make the dish more refreshing and gave the dish a softer crunch. The ratio of granola to yogurt was a little off, however, the apple helped fill this void. The presentation of this dish is beautiful and they have really done a good job with the overall aspects.

Eggs Benedict

Eggs benedict is always a great breakfast option because it is hard to go wrong with the flavours. These eggs were cooked really well and the hollandaise sauce had a nice sweet flavour with a tiny bit of a tang to it. The sautéed mushrooms were a great addition and made the dish more substantial and added more flavour to the dish. Overall, I do not have any complaints with this dish and I was very satisfied with the taste.

Buttermilk Pancakes

These pancakes tastes like how mum used to make them. Fluffy and packed with flavour. The syrup was perfect to enhance the sweetness, which also absorbed really nicely into the fluffiness of the pancakes. The lemon curd gave the dish a bit of a kick and added a nice citrus flavour. The bacon on the other hand, I am not a huge fan of this combination. In my opinion, bacon is too salty to be mixed with super sweet pancakes + syrup, so this flavour combination did not work for me, however, I did demolish the pancakes entirely.
