> Smashed avocado with beetroot hummus, mint, chilli, fetta, poached egg + sourdough AND Salmon tataki on toast with sesame crusted salmon, smashed avocado + soft boiled egg AND Pulled beef brisket benedict served with hot dog bread, two poached eggs + apple cider hollandaise <
It is so nice to be back at such an incredible café. From the point of difference with the food, to the efficient service, this not so little café in the heart of Melbourne central is not one to miss. They are currently trialling a few different specials to see what they should keep for the season so don’t hesitate giving them feedback with any of their menu items!

Smashed avo
> Smashed avocado with beetroot hummus, mint, chilli, fetta, poached egg + sourdough <
A beautifully presented and generous meal, the smashed avo dish is a classic made well. With a 50/50 split between avocado and beetroot puree, you’ve got the option to divide them both equally onto the two slices of toast. With feta and chilli to complement the flavours, you cannot go wrong with this filling and delicious meal.

Salmon tataki
> Salmon tataki on toast with sesame crusted salmon, smashed avocado + soft boiled egg <
A dish on the specials menu, the salmon tataki is a creative and delicious meal. With a massive piece of salmon cooked to perfection, you cannot go wrong with this seafood lunch meal. When you’re walking around the shopping centre, the last thing you want is to be bloated after your lunch feast, this meal will not make you unbutton your pants so do not fret. The avocado complements the salmon perfectly and the sauce soaks into the bread to create the most perfect combination when combined altogether on the fork. If you want this to stay on their menu, go in and try it for yourself and let them know what you think!

Brisket Benedict
> Pulled beef brisket benedict served with hot dog bread, two poached eggs + apple cider hollandaise <
Who doesn’t like eggs and brisket?! Separately they are both so delicious, and together they make an unstoppable combination. The presentation isn’t the best but don’t let this fool you. The meal is quite filling and the flavours are not too strong. The slice of bread does get a bit soggy so you can replace it with sourdough, or consume it in a timely manner. This is a great meat dish that is perfect to satisfy your hangry shopping needs.

Overall
This café is always a delight to visit and I urge you to go check it out if you’re shopping in the city and want a coffee/lunch break!
